✅ Step-by-Step Guide: How to Reset an Immersion Thermostat (Eddi system)

Safety first: Only proceed if you can safely isolate power to the Eddi. Do not remove any covers. If unsure, contact Activ8 Customer Support.

  1. Isolate power to the Eddi
  • Use the power switch on the bottom of the Eddi and set it to AUS / OFF.
  • Wait until the screen goes completely blank.
  1. Confirm power is off
  • Press any front button to test—the screen should not come on.
  • If the screen lights up, repeat Step 1 until it stays off.
  1. Locate the immersion thermostat
  • Find the immersion cap (typically on the top of the hot-water cylinder).
  1. Press the reset
  • If you can see a reset button on the thermostat, press it to reset.
  1. If no reset button is visible

  • Set the Eddi power switch back to ON.
