Before you start, make sure you have the Wi-Fi dongle plugged into the inverter, your Wi-Fi network name and password, a smartphone with the SolisCloud app installed, either iOS or Android, physical access to the inverter, and a mobile device with Internet access.

Step-by-Step Guide

✅ Reconnect the Solis Wi-Fi Dongle (SolisCloud)

Before you start

  • Wi-Fi dongle plugged into the inverter
  • Your home Wi-Fi name & password
  • Smartphone with SolisCloud app (iOS/Android)
  • Physical access to the inverter and internet on your phone

1) Check power & dongle

  1. Ensure the inverter is powered on and the Wi-Fi dongle is firmly connected.
  2. Note the LED meanings on the dongle: blinking green = not connected, solid green = connected.

2) Put the dongle in configuration mode

  1. Open the SolisCloud app → ServiceWi-Fi Configuration.
  2. Enter the dongle serial number manually or scan the QR codeNextBrowser Configuration.
  3. On the dongle, press and hold RESET for 10–20 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly (you may hear a beep).
    • The dongle is now in configuration mode.

3) Connect your phone to the dongle’s hotspot

  1. On your phone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the dongle’s network (the hotspot it broadcasts).
  2. When prompted for Wi-Fi password, enter 123456789.
  3. If a login page appears, enter Username: ADMIN and Password: ADMIN 123, then Log in.

4) Enter your home Wi-Fi details

  1. In the browser/config page, select Wi-Fi.
  2. Choose your home Wi-Fi network from the list and enter your Wi-Fi password.
  3. Tap Next, then OK to save.

5) Let it reconnect, then verify

  1. The dongle will disconnect from your phone and attempt to join your home Wi-Fi.
  2. Wait a few minutes; the LED should change from blinking to solid green when connected.
  3. Open the SolisCloud app and confirm the inverter is online.
